POSITION TITLE: Industrial Design Engineer
REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a committed, innovative and creative professional individual to work as an Industrial Design Engineer. The position is responsible for communicating with clients, interpreting the client’s visions and designing cutting edge displays, while maintaining an awareness of the environmental impact of the design.

Professional Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, architecture, or engineering

• At least 3 years experience in industrial design engineering preferred

• Portfolio demonstrating design abilities preferred

• Creative approach for generating new ideas

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Good team-working skills

• Sound knowledge of CAD software and 3-Dimensional modeling software

• An understanding of the manufacturing process and construction method

• Awareness of product function and the environmental impact of design ideas

• Excellent communication skills
