OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
Manage the Finance and Accounting, Administrative Services and Information Technology Departments.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Audit and analyze financial information and data for accuracy, preparing reports as required for CPA and company management.
- Compile information for financial reports including income statement, balance sheets, cash flow and client profitability.
- Oversee payroll, payroll tax records, employee benefit administration (including 401(k) product and process).
- Forecast cash flow. Balance investment of cash with profit distribution.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, CPA, insurance and attorneys (Corporate and financial issues).
- Manage budgets for monthly tracking, forecasting and accountability.
- Maintain financial records for the corporation.
- Cash Management:
Preparation of cash flow forecasts, reconciliation of bank accounts, management of investments and debt to maximize cash flow.
- Monthly Accounting:
Manage the monthly closing process for efficiency and accuracy.
- Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly financial reporting package and presentation materials for owners, management and external parties. Prepare calculations and forecasts for bank covenants.
- Control company costs to help ensure company profitability goals.
- Recommend procedures to improve operations.
- Provide financial guidance in strategic business issues.
- Manage Staff:
Includes Office Manager, Accounts Payables Associate, and Accounts Receivables Associate. Provide leadership and support, and assist in on-going training and development. Responsibilities include performance evaluations, salary recommendations, job descriptions, etc., and ensuring that Company policies and procedures are followed. Consult HR Supervisor as appropriate.
- Other duties as the General Manager may, from time to time, deem necessary.
